HEL YEAH!! HELSINKI!!!

A TINY BIT OF BALTIC SEA ALL AROUND!

We have parked in the middle of Helsinki. Easy off and on to our viewing and visiting. Lovely town packed with tourists. We used to be one of few but now we are one of many in each of the visiting venues. This somewhat defeats the sense of  excitement when you have to jostle your way into and around.

A BIT OF HISTORIC AND A BIT OF MODERN...

SIBELIUS SCULPTURE -- it was a collection of steel pipes and looks like a set of organ pipes.

Some trees near the sculpture.  Nice park.

Becky in front of Sibelius Sculpture.

FAMOUS BUILDING BUT WE FORGOT THE NAME

TRAM CARS (reminded us both of the scene in the movie
Dr. Zhivago.)

THE CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION
(also known as the Church of the Spilled Blood)

THE TRAIN STATION

THE KING'S PALACE

WALKING BACK TO "OUR SHIP"

WE REALLY WERE THERE.
